A special issue: Call for research in personalized learning

More research in personalized learning is needed before specific models are widely adopted.  In efforts to stir and disseminate research in this area, we are inviting you to submit theoretical and/or empirical manuscripts about personalized learning in K-12 environments and teacher education to a special issue of the Journal of Online Learning Research. Initial submissions are due in October, so start writing! For more details and topic suggestions, see the call at https://aace-web-static.s3.amazonaws.com/2015/07/JOLR-Special-Issue-Call-2019.pdf.

The purpose of this special issue of JOLR is to generate empirical and theoretical literature that informs how blended and online instruction support personalized learning in K-12 environments and teacher education.

  • Validation Instruments/ Studies

Submission Guidelines:

Please submit manuscripts directly through the AACE submission link below.

Do not send manuscripts to the Guest Editors. The manuscripts must go through a double blind review process.

Note: Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Authors are encouraged to contact the Guest Editors to propose an idea for submission to ensure the appropriateness of the proposed manuscript for this special issue.

About the Authors

Anissa is an Associate Professor of Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University and coordinates the Online Teaching and Personalized Learning teacher certificate programs in the Bagwell College of Education.

Stephanee is a former middle school Spanish Teacher, Coach, and District Administrator who now serves as Director of iTeach, a team focused on personalized K-12 educator coaching.
